On Thursday evening, as the City Council was wrapping up their monthly Study Session, the item "Other Business" was reached on the agenda. There was nothing listed under that item, but there clearly was some other business they wanted to discuss. For around 24 minutes, four of the council members, our city manager and city mayor gave their views on some of the public clamor that has been surrounding the Duksan plant, the relationship between the city and the Shelbyville-Bedford Partnership as well as the relationship between the city and small businesses and the Shelbyville-Bedford County Chamber of Commerce.
