June 13, 2024 - State to Inspect Duksan

BREAKING: State Fire Marshal responds to city letter questioning safety at under-construction Duksan Factory. They find Duksan plant does not require state review, but will review if city pays for the review at an approximate cost of $50,000 to $65,000.

City Council voted unanimously to move forward with state review, paying the review fee. City will request Duksan reimburse them. If Duksan refuses, city will ask county to reimburse half of cost per their 231 N agreement.
