Harris Drops First Game of the Season


Tuesday night, Aug. 29, 2023 -  Harris Middle School traveled to Lawrence County to face  E.O. Coffman Middle School.
Harris had a difficult time against a tough Coffman defense and dropped the game 38 - 6 with few bright spots.
Tor'rion Mathis had 11 carries for 38 yards for the Eagles.   The Eagles record is now 4-1 and host Coffee County on September 5th at 6:30 p.m.

Harris MIddle Blasts Warren County

Harris Middle School had a huge homecoming win on Tuesday night at SCHS Stadium.   
Tor’rion Mathis 237 yds on 14 carries 3 tds Cy’onn Rucker 36yds on 6 carries and 2 tds and 3 2point conversions. Jayden Hernandez 2point conversion. And another outstanding defensive effort holding Warren county under 150yds and 8 points. Final was Harris 36-8 over Warren County.

Harris Middle Defeats Tullahoma

Harris Middle School downs Tullahoma by a score of 34 - 30.  Torion Mathis (pictured) carried the ball 6 times for 177 yards and three touchdowns plus, had a kickoff return of 70 yards for a touchdown as the Eagles handed Tullahoma a tough loss. The Eagles, now 2-0 face Lewisburg on August 15th here at home.

Harris Girls Soccer gets another WIN

August 15, 2023 -  Monday evening Harris Middle Girls Soccer defeated Tullahoma by a score of 5-2 and the Junior Varsity team tallied a win as well,  by a score of 5-1.
The Eaglettes will travel to Winchester to take on Franklin County on Wednesday, August 23rd.  

Harris Middle School Girls Soccer team defeats Warren County by a score 9-0 and the Junior Varsity won by a score of 2-0. The Eaglettes host district opponents Tullahoma on Monday August 21st at 5:30 p.m.

 

8/21 Harris vs. South - The JV Team set the tone in this matchup by securing the win in 2 straight sets. A solid serving game paved the way for the victory. The varsity team dropped their first set to South who played great defense. The Eaglettes regained control in the 2nd set and did not look back, taking the 3rd set for the victory.


8/23 Harris @ Moore County - the JV team backed up their strong performance on Monday, dominating 2 sets with another stout serving performance. The varsity team came out strong versus a very talented group and took the first set before Moore County made a surge and took the 2nd. The Eaglettes kept their composure and ultimately secured the 3rd set by a close margin to gain the victory.
